Their circular life: an experiment on days gone by!
admin December 20th, 2007
A wise person once said that minutes and hours stall forever, but days and months fly by faster than a glimpse. I believe whoever said that certainly knew what he (or she) was talking about. Have you ever considered just how elastic time can be? Just like sometimes, you’re waiting for someone to meet you and 15 minutes seem like an eternity - and then before you notice *bam* it’s Christmas again.
“Their circular life” is an artistic flash graphics exhibition which revolves around this intriguing paradox, thus inviting users to reflect on time, flux, and our surroundings. There are 5 cityscapes to choose from, and there’s a circular dial which you can use to control the flow of time. You can either spin the dial rapidly and watch how a whole day and night becomes a fleeting moment, or you can rotate slowly, and savour precious details which go unnoticed by most people. Click the picture and you’ll be forwarded to this online exhibition!
