My husband and I are on a limited budget. Because we have just retired, we are anxious to step out and try some different things. Because I am the worrier in the family, I am always concerned that we will get half way through the vacation and run out of money or end up spending more then we had planed. In the past we have found success by going on a cruise though. We knew right from the beginning what the entire price would be. We were able to stay right within the budget we had decided on and had an amazing time.

For our first retirement adventure, our son has given us an amazing gift. He booked us a surprise trip on one of the Coral princess Cruises . Shocked and happy, we can hardly wait. He has always been so thoughtful but he really surprised us this time. We are going to be staying in one of the outside mini suites. There is a extra area to sit and relax in with a sofa bed. A small refrigerator is also in the cabin and will work great for my medication and cosmetics. A wet bar for my husband makes this room the perfect choice. There are two televisions, but I doubt that we have time to watch them with all the great activities available while on board. We will surely not spend time in the cabin but enjoy all this cruise has to offer.

There are several different dinning choices. I like that option because eating in the same venue every night can be a little boring for us retirees who are trying to step out and try new things. Italian food is one of my favorites and I am looking forward to at least one meal in this specialty restaurant. I will not hesitate to try out some other exotic kitchens unknown to me and I am sure I can put my hubby up for that too.
On the ship there is fun for everyone and every taste.
Most of the time, my hubby and I are happy just to stay on board and enjoy all the things that are going on. Great professional shows, specialty entertainment and who could forget the amazing pool area. These are enough to satisfy anyone, but the ship usually docks several times during the trip and allows passengers the chance to go on shore and explore. Often there are planned adventures that people can choose to do while off the ship and they are available for very reasonable prices. We decided to forgo those options this time and just enjoy all the ship has to offer. It would be a pitty to miss out on all the ship amusement we don’t get to see and enjoy every day.
Top class experience at reasonable cost
Cruising is not for everyone, but for people who love to be treated like royalty and see things they never thought they could all for a very reasonable price, it is the perfect way to travel. I know I am excited and I am sure we won’t be disappointed. The best part is, with careful planning, we already know how much money to bring and I have a feeling we will be coming home with some of it still in our pockets. There will be no surprise expenses and we will get all that we paid for.
