There are two basic requirements that each motorcyclist has when they choose their motorcycle: It has to look cool and it has to be fun. Some motorcycle designers don’t want to design a motorcycle that’s just fun and aesthetically pleasing; they want something unique and eye catching. Below you’ll find some seriously unique and eye catching motorcycle designs, that’s for sure; you might even call the designs strange. These designers certainly took their creative ideas to the next level.
Jaguar M-Cycle
Barrend Massow Hemmes created the Jaguar M-Cycle. It was built with a 1200cc Harley-Davidson V-twin engine. The requirement for driving it? You must be at least 6 feet tall to operate it; any shorter and you probably won’t be able to place your feet on the feet pegs. This bike was even featured in the cult classic film, Anchorman.
The Bull Concept
This is another design of Barrend Massow Hemmes. It’s becoming more apparent with each of his designs that he has a thing for modeling bikes after beastly animals. This design was modeled after a bull. It’s reported that it took Hemmes a good while to figure out how to implement a handle bar that looked like a bull’s horns.
Harley Davidson Limo-Bike
Wildfire Tours, a tour company known for having unique transportation vehicles, had this bike created for their tour services. This limo-bike can hold 8 passengers and provides them with a motorcycle ride in luxury and style.
The Hamburger Harley
Harry Sperl is the creator of this odd, 3-wheeled custom Harley Davidson motorcycle; he admittedly collects all things hamburgers and wanted a hamburger motorcycle. The bike’s cheese, pickles, onions, lettuce, and tomato, fries, and a shake, were painted onto its fiberglass shell by Chris Cruz, an airbrush artist. But the oddness of this bike doesn’t stop with it being a hamburger; the bike’s stereo actually plays the sound of hamburgers frying.
Skeleton Motorcycle
The Skeleton Motorcycle is the creation of John Holt, a metal bender and entrepreneur in Boone County Illinois. The bike is completely hand-made and took him 22 months to complete. As if the bike isn’t cool enough, its headlights located in the eye sockets of the skeleton head.
Bombardier Embryos
The Bombardier Embryos is a hydrogen fuel cell motorcycle built and created by Bombardier Recreational Products. This unique bike does actually have 2 wheels, which you can see if you squint your eyes at the front of the bike. The company claims that two people can fit on the bike.
Peraves Monotracer
Created by Peraves Winterthur, the Peraves Mototracer is a combination of sports car and superbike; it combines fuel efficiency with speed and is the only motorcycle with doors I’ve ever seen!
