Fredo and the Impressive Optical Illusion Pencil Drawings.

For anyone who enjoys looking at quality illustration work, and particularly for fans of 3d optical illusions, this post should be a treat. I don’t know much about the following set of pictures, except they were drawn by an artist called Fredo (as noted by the watermarked signature), and … well, they’re awesome.

Someone sent me these pictures a few months ago through one of those pesky – but occasionally admittedly interesting – chain e-mail messages. As usual there wasn’t much information available regarding the author, or no back-story whatsoever (which I happen to enjoy reading). So for a while these have been rotting away a a possible future post, until more information would be available.

I didn’t find that information, but today I cave very close to accidentally deleting the pictures. So … what the hey, might as well post them before they’re forgotten. Mental note: come back and update this post with relevant information, if possible. Maybe anyone reading this entry can provide some extra factual tidbits via comments, to go along with the gallery?

Fredo pencil drawings that literally *pop* out of the paper.
