These people crack me up! The fact that ghost riding has even been thought of – kind of a spin-off from the old Chinese fire drills we were used to in the 80’s. I guess every kid has their trend though, right? But I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this elderly couple ghost riding the whip down the road.
It looks like a gated community strictly for senior citizens! This video is absolutely hilarious. Though of course the danger involved in this cannot be denied; if one were to trip and fall in front of the moving vehicle, well obviously there is nobody in the driver’s seat there to stop it. There have been several injuries and I wouldn’t be surprised to hear of some deaths that have resulted from this. But of course teenage games usually are quite dangerous. Let’s not forget any potential accidents that could happen as a result of this.
Not only could you damage your own vehicle or injure yourself, but someone else’ property could be seriously damaged or another person can be hurt. If this is the case, you better hope you have good insurance. Though if they find out about your ghost-riding habits, I’m sure your premiums will sky rocket. But I guess those who can afford a nice ride to ghost-ride like that can probably afford any rising insurance costs or any accidents or penalties they may incur.
I think the police should be keeping a lookout for this sort of thing, especially in urban areas and bigger cities were gangs are known to be present. This seems like a rising trend with all walks of life, and in order to stop it we need to attack the problem at its root, where it is starting. All of this is only my opinion, of course.
