Looking for outdoors adventure? Better get equipped first!

I’m a huge fan of technology, and since on top of that I’m your friendly neighborhood online freelancer, it turns out I spend a LOT of time sitting around in my computer. Actually, I actually enjoy that, but every once in a while I get this urge for some outdoor fun! Yap, that’s usually when a few days go by without any updates to this website. I really like doing what I do, but occasionally I need to get out and breathe some fresh air, run around a little, climb some rocks and activate my blood rush.

Besides that, I’m also a great fan of nature, and I really enjoy making long walks and getting lost in the wilderness. Not too lost, actually- thankfully I live in the age of GPS devices otherwise there’s a good chance I’d still be lost in some woods somewhere. Well, anyway, if you share my passion for outdoors fun this cool Adventure Gear will probably spike your interest, so feel free to take a look. All kinds of paraphernalia are available to assist in your excursions. You might also want to look around for a GPS device, unless you know your way around the wilderness. Do have fun in the wild, but don’t get lost you hear me?

Tactical Pants and the Last Pocket Factor?

That’s just how fashion works… sooner than you know it, a new type of clothing suddenly becomes all the rage. Although in this circumstance, I suppose it’s something to do with the militarized period we’re living through, and the whole influence of the Iraq affair and such. Regardless of the cause, I couldn’t help but to realize these kinds of 5.11 Tactical Pants are getting extremely popular these days. Personally I think they’re okay, but I wouldn’t wear them because of something unsettling which I refer to as… the last pocket factor.

You see, I have this brain disorder that gets quite annoying sometimes, and it’s related with everything I carry in my pockets; to be more accurate it pertains the act  of retrieving something from my pockets. Whenever I’m trying to find something I know I’m carrying with me, there’s a 99% chance it will always be in the last pocket I end up scrounging. So, if I started using tactical pants (which are renowned for including 10+ pockets)… somehow I have a feeling that would be a recipe for disaster.

That’s actually quite a shame, because tactical pants certainly look cool.

It’s time to suit up? Well, get measured for a perfect fit!

Let me put something straight before I get on with this: I absolutely, positively hate suits; if I could, I’d wear loose jeans and sneakers all the time. However, I’m very much aware how suits can be a necessary evil, particularly for people who are not the slacker work-at-home-from-your-loose-jeans type. Well, to be honest it’s not suits that I dislike, it’s just the overarching idea that somehow a habit makes a monk. Well, in my opinion it doesn’t; you can be a monk without looking like one, and you can be a wicked business person without having to suit up. All the while, there are occasions when a nice suit comes in handy, particularly when it’s Made to Measure.
