Everyone appreciates getting mail (except for those annoying bills that keep popping up, of course), yet most people don’t really put much thought into their mailboxes. Or so I used to think; I’ve just found this website that provides us with the refreshing exceptions, as far as mailboxes are concerned. Apparently, there’s actually several mail enthusiasts who go out of their way in order to make sure the mailman won’t have trouble delivering their postal correspondance. Check out this page, and you’ll get to look at dozens of pictures from funny-looking creative mailboxes all over the world. There are some rather ingenious designs out there, and I’m actually contemplating the possibility of coming up with my own creation… maybe something plain and down-to-earth, such as adding a trashbin for unwanted mail.
