Hello, everyone! I hope you’re having a happy, smoke-free kind of day. I just came across an interesting set of pictures by Mr. Albert Ortiz on the hazards of tobacco smoking. Some of these pictures are genuinely interesting, asides from the fact they promote a worthwhile cause – to quit smoking. But don’t take my word for it, just see for yourself:
Neat, uh? Hopefully it will serve as further motivation if you’ve been trying to figure out how to stop smoking cigarettes. Just so you know, I’m not decisively anti-smoke… but I’m all against bad habit and addiction. Unfortunately, in 99% of the people, smoking will invariably lead to addiction. If it was possible to enjoy the occasional cigarette and remain unaffected with the bad habit, I wouldn’t have a problem with smoking. But for most people, that simply isn’t an option.
When you realize that your life revolves around cigarettes; when you feel stressed out just because you only have 3 cigarettes left in the pack and there’s not an open shop nearby where you can re-stock…. that’s when you know something is very wrong with you life. That’s when you know cigarettes have become your master, and it’s also when you need to gather the strength to stop smoking. And more often than not, you won’t be able to cease the habit until you genuinely start hating smoke and cigarettes. Well, if that’s what it takes, so be it! You won’t need any of that crap anyway!
To stop smoking cigarettes is only as hard as you imagine; if you imagine you can’t possibly be happy and relaxed without smoking, you’ll never be able to quit. Try to think of how happier, healthier and wholly self-sufficient you’ll be when you kick the habit, that will make the whole process easier. Otherwise…
Still want to smoke? How daring of you.
