A true SnapBomb in Blog Marketing? Time will Tell!

You know… when it comes to daily reminders of why I like being around here, I must say… I really enjoy thinking I’ve learned a lesson or two, in my days. And from all the lessons I have ever learned, I’m sure this is probably one of the most valuable:
Every coin has two sides.
Let’s take sponsorship, for an example: many people think of sponsored posts as a horrible poison that’s steadily killing the true spirit of blogging; myself, I prefer thinking about blog marketing as a powerful new tool that will help empower modern age prosumers (producers and consumers of information), and bring about a new age in online marketing and reshape the obsolete old-world patterns of publicity and consummerism. Granted, this might sound like a biased outlook:
If you’re a regular “customer” here, you might have noticed I’m an adept of sponsored posts - I’d say about 40% of these Slices have been paid by third parties. So, many people will (all too easily) come out and say “well, because that Slices guy is nothing but a snake oil salesperson… there are too many sponsored posts in that blog, and sometimes the whole thiing feels like an overgorown advert”.
To which I’d readily reply - not by a longshot, and not really… it’s all a matter of perspective, actually - while adding that’s a REALLY blunt perspective. Sometimes people live in a kind of cartoon universe where they barely look beyond the surface of things. This goes to say that just because I take a lot of sponsored posts, it doesn’t mean I’m selling out… ever! On the other hand, it DOES mean that I’m increasing the revenue generated by this blog, and thereby reinforcing my commitment and availability to producing new content and raising the quality of this website.
And if you think that’s an excuse, just take a few moments to review my special brand of buzz making techniques. As you ‘ll likely realize, I hardly ever put out shallow pleasantries concerning the products and services focused on sponsored posts. Usually, I try to go for facts and I do my research to make sure it all adds up to more than just hype. And when I’m not sure if the product I’m promoting is good, I plainly ask you people to express your personal insights and experiences on the subject matter. Transparency is second only to perspective, as far as I’m coming from.
Okay, so now I feel like I’m going in a rant here, one that is better left to my disclosure page (and it will, soon enough). This all goes to say that I’ve signed up for yet another blog advertising network and I plan to use it best I can to keep making what I always do - hopefully while improving my blogging craft and increasing my profits and getting progressively closer to becoming a full-time blogger. So, if anyone out there feels like trying out a new blog marketing avenue, you might want to check out snapbomb. It really looks like a thriving sponsored posts marketlplace, and for one I’m curious to see what’ll come about from this new partnership.
I’m not really sure how good this website is, but judging from the Alexa ranking alone (60k range), it certainly looks like a huge marketplace, thriving with diverse opportunities and interesting sponsors. In my best tradition, I’d like to invite anyone reading this to come out and share their personal experience with this company. And yes, in case you might be wondering, this IS my “welcome aboard” post for snapbomb. And that is that, my friends!
