As far as classic pop songs are concerned with, this is not necessarily the most famous (even though it’s definitely well ranked), but it’s quite possibly one of the most elusive. Not because it features outstandingly deep lyrics or anything like that, but simply because it was accompanied with a videoclip that oftentimes left people wondering “what was that all about?”.
Granted, nonsensicalness is pretty much a standard feature of music videos - remarkably so during the 80’s, but still… it’s always good to get a healthy reality check every now and then. In this spirit, allow me to introduce you to the new revamped version of a-Ha’s “Take on me”, which faithfully mirrors the action featured in the videoclip. Now… isn’t that refreshing?
