In the fast-paced technological days we live by, is there a greater plague scouring the modern societies other than apathy and ignorance? If I had to wager and point my finger towards a greater issue underlying all other disturbances we’re all faced with, I’d probably put my money on… well, money - or the lack thereof. In my opinion, this is quite possibly the root of all evils… and while I’ll positively refrain myself from engaging a pointless rant against capitalism, I cannot help but feeling a little repulse at living in a world where so many people life shackled in severe financial troubles.

Sometimes I get wondering… is there someone left in America who hasn’t yet plummeted into debt? Is there more room for the economically helpless, in the soaking puddle of spiritless, desperate human beings who have lost all hope that they will eventually succeed in that elusive goal to consolidate debt? Well, let me put it this way… no matter how bad things look, HOPE is something which should be vitally held to. But hope is but a starting ground from where we get to make a better day… provided we put ourselves into it.

Debt may nowadays have become a transversal problem in our society, but still it’s my opinion it can be worked off just like any problem: with mindful strategy and consistent effort. If you’re worried that you keep sinking into debt, by all means: take some action! Make a plan! Get some credit card counseling, organize some debt settlement plans. Maybe you cannot change the world, but you certainly can change your life for better.

Okay, so I was exacerbating the whole thing back there when I started off this post, dear reader, but my aim was none other than illustrative. To be honest, I don’t even think money is the root of all evil - if I were to pursuit accuracy, then I’d have to say that’s human greed. However, that’s beside the point. This is not about pointing fingers, but pointing solutions: after all, it’s a daily reminder why we like it here, right?
