Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of buzz concerning a new kind of fraud prevention service named lifelock. Since so many people seem to be tossing that word around lately, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to look it up, and maybe cut a little slice discussing the issue.
Simply put, lifelock is an innovative service aimed at preventing identity fraud; meaning their business is to make sure no one goes around trying to use your personal of finantial information for ill purposes. The company’s mission statement is about helping consumers “render their personal information useless to thieves, backing up its service with a one million-dollar service guarantee.” Judging from the prices they’ve won along with the exponential growth, I’d say lifelock is in for the long haul. So if you hadn’t quite understood what it’s all about, this is your chance!
