This is probably one of the greatest inspirational stories you’ve heard in a long while, and if you don’t know about Professor Randy Pausch, then I urge you to sit down and watch closely. The following lecture was given on McConomy Auditorium in Carnegie Mellon, last September. As he worked on this lecture, Mr. Pausch had been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer, and thus he decided to make his final teaching, focusing quite a unique subject: Fulfilling Childhood Dreams. I won’t spoil the surprise, so you should really watch this through; hopefully if will provide you with a more efficient reminder of why we should like it here, than I could possibly strive to achieve with a thousand slices.
