Did you know french people refer to potatos as earthly apples (pomme de terre)? I’ve always found this linguistic trivia quite amusing, and when I was younger, I actually embraced extensive reflections on the similarities between this unlikely combination of fruit and vegetable. Well, not really but I could have.

As funny as it might seem, I’ve just found a video which is actually funnier – or at least more ridiculous. This is a straight out potato musical, mind you, and it’s nothing to do with apples or french people; however I still felt like sharing so here you go! Enjoy singing and eating potatos, but don’t overdo either thing otherwise you’ll be likely to become a fat, annoying person (oh my, have I just discovered how opera singers originate?)
