Picture of huge fish induces bizarre dream and unusual tuna sandwich cravings!

+

The other day I read this interesting article about two British folks who caught this insanely enormous fish, while going on a fishing trip in Fraser River, Chilliwack, Canada. According to their fishing guide, the locals talk about some creatures in that river far bigger than this. I didn’t really pay that much attention to the article when I first saw it, but I think it must have really stuck in my sub-conscious mind; so, last night I had this strange dream where an old friend of mine e-mailed me with some coupons for free flights to Canada.

huge fish

Before I knew it, I travelled to Canada (Indiana Jones -style, I clearly recall at some moment in the dream there was a cartoon map with an animated dotted airplane) and I was sitting near the back of the river with a remarkably old couple. We were leisurely sipping some tea, and they were telling me about the huge and ancient water creatures living in that place. According to the old-time Canucks, there was an ancient underwater tunnel going all the way to Scotland from that river, and there was a breed of ancient creatures inhabiting those mysterious tunneled depths. So this was actually the place where the Loch Ness monster originally came from! Can you believe that? This all made good sense in the dream, because I figured that’s why the Loch Ness monster had never been caught: it just kept travelling back and forth between Canada, Scotland, and possibly some other locations as well. I dunno if there’s some kind of hidden meaning to this dream, but I can tell you I woke up with insane craving for a Tuna sandwich!

edit: I just ran my dream through FreakyDreams, and I’m quite intrigued with the results. All in all, I think this was a good thing, and I’ll probably become more of a fish person!
