Darth Vader is one of the most influential characters in the Star Wars franchise, science fiction in general, and our collective imagination in particular. Just type up “Vader” on the slice search box up there, and you’ll be provided with several illustrative examples. Now, as far as illustrative goes, I think today you’ll be treated with a rather unique example.

The following exhibition is titled “Darth Vader on Acid”, and it’s comprised of dozens of unique and eccentric takes on the helmet designs that Vader would possibly choose if he was an outer space psychonaut, with an inclination towards psychedelic fashion and lifestyle. There are helmets for every taste: funny helmets, outraging helmets, scary, provocative, queer, and even hooded helmets (which is somewhat redundant once you think of it. So go ahead and laugh your hats out — just beware for disgruntled star wars junkies, should you feel like cracking a joke!
