Who would have thought breaking stuff could be so exciting and fun? Granted, there are certain people who sometimes vent out their frustrations by breaking things, that’s a well known fact. But I’m talking about something different, here. I’m about to show you some evidence which demonstrates there are also people in this world who are capable of turning a single moment of destruction into a fascinating showcase for creativeness.

I think there’s something simultaneously beautiful and tragic about these pictures. True, you could reason it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to break a bunch of clay figurines. But it’s the whole act of purposely breaking those figurines and preserving the very moment they shatter … this provides us with a perfect background to reflect upon timelessness and transience, and I would go as far to say that’s what art is all about.
