The deliciously refreshing electronic music group “Daft Punk” is renowned not only for their good music, but also for using imaginative samples, and making a series of characteristic anime-themed music videos ( I must take mental note to cut such videos a slice, they’re really worth it). Furthermore, Daft Punk is also getting increasingly known for inspiring some good Internet people to whip out some elaborate choreographers based upon the hit tune “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger”.

Did you know the band got their name from a negative review from a music magazine early in their career? The publication referred their musical style as a kind of “daft” (silly) punk, and they must have actually enjoyed the comment, since they adopted the name; and they only got better ever since, that’s granted! In my opinion this is one of the nicest band name stories ever. If you aren’t familiar with Daft Punk you should positively look them up if you’re up for a pleasant and whimsical hearing experience.
