The best thing about marketing is probably how it encourages wild unbound creativity. When an advertiser is trying to sell his product/service, he will spare no effort to differentiate his brand from the competition. It’s no wonder, since the law of the markets so commands; in all case, I think it’s quite fascinating to watch the kind of things they will do to draw the consumers attention. For example, this make-believe carwash company has come up with this really cool application which really stimulates the senses as well as the imagination, while embedding our minds with subliminar messages.

Within the “One of The Lads” website (click here), you’ll meet three lovely ladies (isn’t that somewhat contradictory?), which will obey to your every command. Okay, maybe not quite every command, but you’ll still be able to interact with the video application in several ways, from saying hello to asking them to dance, or eventually asking them to wash the car! It’s actually quite funny, and unless you’re a straight-out puritan, there’s nothing too offensive in there (it’s pretty much a PG13+, unless you’re willing to whip out your credit card, that is).
