This is somewhat of a rogue branch in psychotherapy which is based on the premise that human behaviours can be readily conditioned through language and communication. Despite popular belief, this kind of technique has little to do with science fiction; it’s actually a therapeutic technique aimed at developing awareness of one’s unconscious psychological patterns, with the purpose of changing them and nurturing self-control. Apparently, once a person is able to recognize such patterns, he’ll be able to perform some neat tricks, like you’ll be able to watch in the following videos. I wholeheartedly advise you against trying to pull of this kind of stunt; keep in mind NLP is not about manipulating other people (although it can be used for that purpose) - it’s actually about getting to know yourself!
