The best way to succeed at on-line gambling? Use your head!

admin November 26th, 2007

I keep hearing more and more stories about people who either make of waste huge amounts of money by playing the online casinos. I’m somewhat of a gambler myself, and one thing I have learned from experience is that straight-out players are most likely to lose. You might suppose winning a game of chance is all about … well chance, but it’s actually not quite so. As far as I’m concerned, the first rule for becoming a sucessfull player is watching; you should watch other people play, you should try and observe winning and losing patterns, and also you should inform yourself of what you’re doing, and where you’re doing it. This is particularly true if you’re playing at online casinos; there are several such websites out there, and some of them offer better options than others. This is why there are also web sites which focus exclusively on reviewing each online casino. So, remember… think first, play second! Enjoy yourself, and try not to get too ahead of yourself.

admin November 26th, 2007

Samsung G600

In the fast-paced technological days we live by, the swiss-knife effect has clearly taken hold of the electronics market. For example, when someone purchases a cell-phone, they expect to get much more than just the ability to make calls. I was checking ou the specs from this new Samsung gadget, and I can barely whether it’s a phone which can take photographs, or a camera which can make calls. Apparently, the company making these phones is so confident in the quality of this device, they have organized a beauty contest to show the world just how cool their new camera-phone is. So if you’re interested in taking part of the action, make sure to Vote for Queue Jumpers with The Samsung G600 5 Mega Pixel Camera Phone .

If you’re a person who merely enjoys eating toasts, maybe this post will not be that attractive. However, if you’re a person who truly revels in the art of making bread toasts, this is definitely a website that you’ll want to check out. Within the Toaster Museum Foundation, you’ll be treated with passionate, toasty information concerning the toasting devices of yesteryear. Just a few thoughts on virtual currencies!

admin November 26th, 2007

With the advent of the Web 2.0 and the virtual communities - particularly the gaming communities - there has been increasingly more business models focused upon the enhancement of the user’s experience. In fact, it’s safe to assume that several full-fledged side-economies have emerged, where people exchange real money for virtual money they can use to become further immersed in their virtual experience. Sounds like science fiction? Well, it’s not. This is something many people out there are familiar with through such popular concepts as Second Life, where vast worlds have been created which allow people to interact with each other in intricate ways, thanks to a panoply of virtual applications that closely mimic the real-world dynamics. Not all of these applications are free, and users can buy and sell clothes, items, and enhancements just like in the real world.

world of warcraft

If you thought that virtual economies were limited to Second Life, then guess again. This concept has pervaded into other kinds of simulations, most notably online games - which are nowadays referred to as MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing - quite a pompous name, wouldn’t you agree?). As it turns out, this is actually a multi-million dollar industry; certain predictions aim for an outraging $4 billion market volume in 2008, which is quite impressive. The most popular MMORPG is doubtlessly “World of Warcraft”; you may have heard of this infamous game, but you probably didn’t know there was such a thing as wow gold, which is the standard currency for the game universe. There are several worldwide companies exchanging in wow gold, but not all of them are completely reliable; so if you’re interested in immersing yourself in these virtual worlds of fantasy, make sure you choose a reliable merchant. Otherwise, just keep reality in check while you’re having fun! Just like this:

Strongest B-Boy compilation! Amazing headstands, incredible moves!

admin November 24th, 2007

I know I keep telling you to get more exercise, and that’s positively all around good advice. However, you should probably start with something a little less drastic than what you’re about to see… otherwise, chances are you’ll end up with scratches and bruises, best case scenario. Still, if you feel like joining the mouse potato staring competition (which is probably the most popular activity in the vast cyberspace), then by all means feast you eyes on this amazing demonstration of break dance. Yourself, better stick to the dance for now - leave the breaking part for experts might be a good idea! Just remember not to stick to the mouse at all times. Cheers!

Real-world Jedi Mind Tricks: a glimpse of NeuroLinguistic Programing (NLP)

admin November 24th, 2007

Have you ever heard of Neuro Linguistic Programming? This is somewhat of a rogue branch in psychotherapy which is based on the premise that human behaviours can be readily conditioned through language and communication. People who study this technique are known to be able to perform quite interesting feats, not unlike the kind of Mind Tricks which are usually acted out by the Jedi Knights in the popular Star Wars movies.

Despite popular belief, this kind of technique has little to do with science fiction; it’s actually a therapeutic technique aimed at developing awareness of one’s unconscious psychological patterns, with the purpose of changing them and nurturing self-control. Apparently, once a person is able to recognize such patterns, he’ll be able to perform some neat tricks, like you’ll be able to watch in the following videos. I wholeheartedly advise you against trying to pull of this kind of stunt; keep in mind NLP is not about manipulating other people (although it can be used for that purpose) - it’s actually about getting to know yourself!
