If you’re looking for some incentive to help you visualize a healthier, smoke-free life, the following video will doubtless provide you with a nice visual aid. This is a simple experiment, where the author has taken 400 cigarettes and burnt them down trough a vacuum-inducing contraption, using water as in-between filter. You may easily guess how this turns out; when experiment is halfway through, the water has already become black. When he’s finished burning the whole lot (20 packs in total), the viscous darkened fluid looks like something to which the term “black” can only effect a mere euphemism. The result is a whopping 7200 mgr tar concentrated within a bottle of water, which not only looks rather disgusting, but also very much thought-provoking. Is this what the inside of one’s lungs will look like after a month of smoking a daily pack?
