If you enjoy lounging around in the backyard, you obviously need some nice outdoors furniture, which you can find for a reasonable place in most standard furniture stores. However, If you’re a person who enjoys outstanding comfort and revels in luxury, you probably have a nice house with a beautiful patio where you invest good money for the sake of your precious leisurely moments. If you happen to be looking for exquisite outdoors furniture, you should definitely check out this teak patio furniture. While this is by no means an inexpensive brand, it certainly offers some of the best chairs money can buy.
Just check out their catalog, and you’ll be amazed with the solid designs and impeccable furniture. I’m still young enough to indulge dream house fantasies, and one thing I’m certain of: this is the kind of chair where upon I’d like to enjoy my lounging moments. I feel a little ashamed for entertaining this kind of material thinking, but hey… besides offering quality products, teak furniture also donates part of the profits they make in each sale to help preserve the rain-forests. It’s not completely wrong to spoil yourself once in a while, and It’s always best to make business with ecologically aware companies, don’t you agree?

Today I’ll present you with yet another amazing scientific breakthrough! … Actually, it’s not really a breakthrough, and there’s not much science involved, it’s more about common sense. It’s a really ingenious trick though, and the result looks pretty cool. By watching this video, you’ll learn how it’s possible to put a whole fruit inside a bottle. In case you’re wondering, no… you don’t just squeeze it through the bottleneck. It’s somewhat more subtle than that. Just watch the video and enjoy!

Is it just me, or cats and dogs aren’t supposed to get along at all? This bitch not only seems to get along with cats, she actually seems to have adopted one of them. And she actually started to breast feed him! Now how is that for an inter-racial adoption love story? I can’t really decide what to make out of this; it’s definitely an unlikely match, that’s for sure.

I’ve just uncovered the funniest how-to guide ever. It’s essentially a set of 25 innovative DIY inventions that can be assembled by mixing the most unlikely household items; some notable examples include using a spring to hold chopsticks and using post stamps as artificial nails. The most wacky suggestion is possibly the impressive hearing aid you must have already noticed, down there. While I don’t guarantee you’ll discover many genuinely useful tricks by checking out this collection of DIY gadgets, I guarantee you’ll be having great laughs! Also, the best thing about this list is that it’s photo-based, and quite self-explanatory. Furthermore, there must be something in there you’ll find genuinely useful… right? Hey, can you *hear* me?!

I can’t *gasp* get my mind off this! Remember the Hawaii Travel Blog I told you about earlier today? I’ve spent the whole aftertoon bouncing back and forth through that website. I’m pretty sure I will be going to Hawaii this Christmas; with every new picture I look at, my mind gets further resolved into making something as crazy as running away to a paradise beach during the Christmas season! Hawaii beach house…. Now this is what I call living! I will have none of that old same boredom, this year.

In any case… I really want all of you regulars to rest assured I will make arrangements so this blog keeps getting updated while I’m travelling around. Hawaii or no Hawaii, there shall be regular daily slices, now and ever. Also, hopefully by early 2008 I will have figured out a way to provide a symbolic compensation for people who are interested in posting content within this blog-like entertainment webzine. In the meanwhile, I’ll just keep dreaming away while gasping at gorgeous pictures - anyone care to join me?

I don’t really know why, but as the Christmas season approaches, I always feel like running away. It’s not like I don’t enjoy the traditional celebrations, family gathering and all that. It’s just… I cannot help feeling bored when I get stuck in the same old patterns; and when I think of it, every single Christmas I’ve lived through has been pretty much the same. It’s not as though that’s really a bad thing, I just wish I could enjoy some original holidays, for a change. This is why I’ve been contemplating the possibility of travelling elsewhere, this season.
The other day, I was checking this Hawaii Travel Blog, and the realization dawned upon me: Christmas on a paradise beach! That’s what I need to stir my holiday spirit. I mean, just look at this beautiful picture! Can’t you just *totally* picture yourself sipping cocktails on the beach, wearing nothing but a bathing suit and a red Santa hat? I sure can! In case you feel likewise, I’ll leave you with some nice leads for Oahu vacation rentals and Oahu Vacation Information. Wherever you choose to spend your Christmas, just remember it’s meant to be all about Peace!

I’ve just added yet another whistling bell to Slices of Life - you must have noticed it by now, right next to our lovely trademark crazy cook logo. This is much more than a colorful map: it’s actually a visitor’s tracking map provided by Maploco.com, and so far I’m quite happy with it (just click my map and you’ll be forwarded to their website, where you can register for your own free visitor map). If this thing works properly, I think it will provide all of us with yet another cool feature. This is a daily reminder where our visitors are coming from! I feel it’s really fascinating that so many people from all over the world will gather upon this blog-like webzine! Y’all keep coming, there’s plenty of room! As long as there will be things we like it here in the world as well as in cyberspace, I’ll make sure they’re posted about as daily reminders! So… cheers to Agloco, and cheers for all of us!

So you like saving buckets? Heck, who doesn’t? The holidays keep looming near, and most people are starting to get their consumerist juices flowing like crazy. Well, giving away presents is a great thing, but if you’re able to save a little money in all the shopping you’ll probably make during the next month, then it’s all for the best, right? I’ve already told you and I’ll tell you again, in case you haven’t noticed: online shopping is providing us all with increasingly competitive prices over traditional retail stores. And as far as online shopping goes, comparison shopping is the way to go.
Comparison shopping is pretty much the same as roaming around the off-line stores, window shopping for the best prices. The difference is that with online price comparison sites, there’s really no need to roam around: you’ll be forwarded to the best options right away, with no need of wasting time looking around. Want a simple example? Imagine that you’re looking for some digital camera; if you visit this website I just hotlinked (which happens to be one of the premier price comparison resources on the web), you’ll have access to a list of digital camera products and retailers, so you can choose the most suitable option quite easily. Behold.. the magic of online comparison shopping!

The most impressive thing about this electronic trick is that it only requires 3 simple household items: an FM radio, a pocket calculator and scotch tape. It’s incredibly simple, but it actually seems to work, and there’s actually a reason why: watch this video and figure it out! Have fun scrounging the beaches, and if you find some heavy loot, make sure to send us a contribution! It’s Slices of life: a daily reminder why we like it here!
