This is an intriguing black-and-white two part webcomic which is somewhat reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland – only in a twisted, mostly speechless way. The artwork is dense and moody, and the pacing is rather nice; if not disturbing on occasions. All in all, this makes for a fun read, as well as a illustrative example of an interesting webcomic. Check it out for yourself here!

To the unsuspecting observer, this may look like nothing more but a silly video featuring a doped-up bodybuilder. Some watchers have commented this might just be the up-and-coming Chuck Norris – while I do agree with such comment to an extent (there’s something about his face that’s reminiscent of the good ol’ ranger), I still know best – for what I bring you today is a little piece of Internet history, a proud addiction to the roster of ill-famed Internet People. Ladies and gentleman… meet the TechnoViking!

Whether you’re a masochistic fan of bad candy, or you’re just interested in identifying such candy so you can stay clear off it, the website I decided to feature today will most likely prove helpful. Bad Candy.com is an inspiring resource featuring reviews of sugary treats from hell – actually, it looks like most of them originated in Mexico. Apparently the Mexican people have a predisposition to create sweet&salty&spicy candies: peculiar combinations, which not many taste buds can happily relate to.

I figured since Halloween is just around the corner, maybe this will prove a useful resource to help you give a whole new meaning to the expression “trick or treat”. Some of the dire candy highlights you’ll want to look for are “Bomvaso”, “Cajetas”, “Chaca Chaca”, and “Rebanadas”. Steer of the “pulp of tamarind”, tough: giving something like that to children (or anyone else, for that matter) is probably not only immoral but illegal as well. For detailed reviews and snapshots, check out the Bad Candy website!

Have you ever heard about something called “chi“? As in Tai Chi? The quoted term can be defined in various ways – most abstract things can – however for the sake of convenience, we shall refer to it as our inner power. This is not merely something you can read about; more importantly I think it’s something you can feel. If you pay close attention to yourself, you’ll notice there’s a physical strenght to your body, which is obvious – but there’s also another kind of force scouring your veins, and permeating through your entire body… force which is quite more subtle, even tough it can also be quite powerful, once you learn to harness its potential. There are several methods for raising awareness of this subtle force, as well as techniques aimed at developing conscious control of it. I’ll leave you with a couple videos featuring exhibitions by people who have developed such control. Hopefully this will make you curious about Chi; If you’re interested, just make a comment, I’ll make sure to further discuss the topic in future posts. Enjoy!
