So… it’s been a while since I’ve told you all about stereograms - you know, those magical cross-eye pictures of unpredictable depth. And if my memory is good, last time around you couldn’t get yourself to reach the seeing mental state which is required to access the glorious beauty of the 3d hidden pictures. Is that right? If so, I will not have more excuses! Today is the day where you learn how to properly focus your eyes in order to watch a stereogram.

Aren’t you ashamed that your kids can do it and you can’t? And no, this is not bad for the sight, much the opposite. I’ve heard some people have actually managed to cure their eye diseases just by practicing the art of stereo-gramming! And some of them even get a better skin and regulated digestive system while doing so, not to mention they also get huge IQ boosts! And I mean that, so let’s get on with it. The trick is to look *past* the picture, and allow your eyes to gently come into focus until you reach the visual twilight zone. In other words, you must stare at this:

Until you see something like this:

This it’s impossible? That just means you’re not trying hard enough! Just keep doing it, the first time is the trickiest! When you’re able to see a stereogram for the first time, you’ll instantly learn how to focus your eyes in a snap! And you’ll be proud of yourself for learning a new skill! When you’re up for the challenge, click here for a full gallery of Magic Eye stereograms. Have fun, and don’t give up!

So, hot shot! Yeah, the one in the back who keeps bragging that he can watch stereograms without even trying. I’ve got something here more appropriate to your level of expertise; check out this 3d Stereogram Tetris, whydon’tyou?
