I’m not sure if this really is *the* hardest riddle on the world wide web, but I’ll wager it’s one of the most excruciating. “Not pron” is a strange website reminiscent of the old myst-like point-and-click adventures, where you need to watch carefully and think logically in order to reach the next stage. The difference being – according to the author – this is not really a point and click think, it’s more about reasoning and logic. Insane logic, but logic, nonetheless… for example, in stage three and four you must change the URL manually, and in subsequent stages you’ll have to make insane amounts of research in order to find the right answer. Just be careful not to look up the solution to the riddle, otherwise you’ll spoil your fun.

I think there are 132 stages to this cyberspace detective game, and also I’ve heard there’s a story that you will only realize as you finish the whole thing. I haven’t been able to progress too far, yet I’m really convinced that unless you’re some sort of crazy genius, you will take a *lot* of time to find the answers on your own… just check out these stats which I’ve retrieved from the official page: out of approximately 12 Million visitors, only 123 people have been certified to have finished the game! How is that for a challenge? Maybe you will be the 124th person… just remember not to cheat, okay?
