It’s quite refreshing to watch an artist who presents his audience with a positive message, rather than engaging the customary ramblings about sex, drugs and violence that seems to constitute the main theme in contemporary lyricism. I think music has a huge power in influencing people and raising positive emotions, in fact I believe music has the outright power of changing the world; Hasidic performer Matishyahu seems to concur, and he’s an artist that actually lives up to such high standards in his work - a rare quality, if you ask me. This is one of my favorite songs and I’ll leave you with the videoclip and lyrics, so you can see for yourself what I’m talking about.
