Life sure is funny. I’ve been playing this cool game for the DS called Super Monkey Ball! touch, which I hated when I first tried it. I used to think it was a childish, annoying game, until I realized there’s actually quite a challenging and addictive gameplay concept lurking between the colorful presentation.

The gameplay is quite straightforward: you’re supposed to guide your monkey-in-a-ball across several types of obstacles until he reaches the goal, while collecting as much bananas as possible, along the way. There are 10 worlds comprising 10 stages each, and then there’s 2 secret worlds (the first you can unlock by going through those odd hard-to-reach alternative goals you’ll come across later in the game; the second secret world is unlockable after you beat the first and collect 2005 bananas).

All in all, it’s a higly engaging game, that features a very nice learning curve - it’s easy enough learning how to control the rolling monkey, however it’s possible to really pull some crazy stunts after you become more proficient. Highly recommended!
