Anyone who’s serious about publishing online content these days knows that it’s important to keep establishing links; should we think of a website as a tree, links are easily compared to the roots; so you want your roots to stretch widely and firmly, in order for your tree to grow properly. And one of the most obvious ways of doing so, at least on the website’s early days, is by submitting to as many directories as possible; this will help increase the pagerank, which is google’s measure of a website’s reputation.
The thing with submitting to directories is that, even tough most of them are free to register, they require a tedious, mind-numbing registration process that easily becomes annoying after a while. It may not look like it’s too much trouble to submit a few simple forms with your website’s title, url, descriptin and keywords, but after you’ve been over a few dozen entries… believe me, it starts getting a bit on the excruciating side.
Just now, I was faced with this problem. I had been submitting to several directories, and my nerves readily started twitching in disconfort and impatience. So, I figured I’d look around for a company that would provide a manual directory submission service for a reasonable price. It didn’t take long until I came across this website that charges only $0.14 for each manual directory submission. Seems like a reasonable price; I’ve just ordered 100 submissions (at $14) for a test drive of sorts. Hopefully, this will help lift off my PR once and for all. If it works, I’ll let you know.
