When I think of it, one of the things I like best about life is the ability to dream and reinvent our reality. As far as I can see, this is probably mankind’s greatest blessing: we are able to dream and realize our ambitions in a way no other animal can; doutblessly, this is our greatest triumph, as well as our greatest tragedy. Today’s video provides indeed a triumphant display of the creative power of dreams, titled “drawn with lines”; this is an exquisite display of cratsmanship and rotoscoping animation. You should really watch the video through, since it provides a lively vision of what life really is about; have you noticed the expression “created by the creator”? . This is something that I keep wondering all the time: what is life *really* about, you know? And the more I think of it, the more I get the feeling life is about dreaming and waking up to larger dreams. Such as this:

note: I’ve contacted the author, and he told me this project was developed during the course of 8 months, with a total 1300+ drawings, which he traced over live footage. Quite an impressive feat for a single individual, wouldn’t you agree? Maybe one of these days, I’ll post and interview with the author. Stay tuned!
