Have you noticed how each episode in “the Simpsons” show starts with slightly different opening credits, where something different happens when the family rushes towards the couch and sits in front of the TV? Well, you *must* have noticed, otherwise you must not really have watched the show ever, or possibly you have memory deficit disorder.

Whatever may be your case, today’s slice will provide you with bewildering, sagacious insight into the reason why “The Simpsons” is in all truth a beacon in 20th century pop culture. This collage of videoclips provides IMO a clear exhibit of the creativity and genious behind a TV show that has largely grown over the years into an institution of sorts; an institution of cartoon history, and modern-age social commentary. Grab an unit of your favorite bebeverage, lean back and relax, because today’s slice will give you a taste of frantic, yellow, non-sequitur amusement.

What is your favorite single skit, from within this collage? I’m a bit of a grandeur delusionist myself, so mine is obviously the biggest one, where the camera zooms out from the simpsons house, showing the earth, the solar system, the universe, until then….
