The great firewall of China!
+
Now, what about that? Did you suppose that the Internet flows freely as water around the world? If so, it turns out that you had supposed wrongly, because apparently there’s a huge damn around the virtual borders of china, preventing information form circling freely. It’s true, there is actually a great firewall of china! And even tough it can’t be seen from the moon, it’s very good at preventing chinese people from getting undescrimate access to information. Personally, I had no idea there would be such a thing, but it actually makes sense, once you think of it. The first fool-proof indicator of a despotic government is the placement of limitations upon free access to information; since the Internet is arguably the most hugely enormous source of information in the green earth, it follows naturally that China would not have hesitated in restricting the access to foreign sites containing uncensored ideas and information.
Figures; for this reason, it also follows naturally that Slices of Life is not allowed in China. It’s probably because all websites are blocked by default, but I don’t suppose they would ever allow chinese people to access the sort of things I keep talking about, such as democracy, freedom and love. Well, that’s too bad! Kind of makes me feel sad about those people. If you want to check out if your website is blocked in china, click here.
