As some of you might have noticed, I’ve been experimenting a lot with wordpress themes recently. The problem is that I can never seem to find exactly what I’m looking for, and I lack the necessary skills to create a theme from scratch. Fortunately, I just found a middle ground between downloading boring ready-made themes and making one all by myself: it’s an amazing online customizable theme generator. I had already seen one of these before, but I was quite dissatisfied with the results, since the interface was quite basic and allowed for little control over the final look of the page.

This one however seems to work quite good, as you can judge from the slick look of this webpage. This look isn’t still exactly what I have in mind, but I think it won’t take too much tweaking until I get there. It’s actually rather simple to create a custom theme by using the intuitive yet powerful interface which you can access by clicking here. Give it a try, it may be just what you’re looking for. Also, if you know a theme generator that is still better than this one, don’t hesitate to let me know. I’d like to add a flash animation rather than a graphic up there, but I don’t even know if that’s possible. Oh, brother… as long as there is health, I suppose I’ll eventually figure out a way.
