In case you’re puzzled… No, this isn’t a post about cascading style sheets. Rather, it’s about a modern brazilian pop-electro band which calls itself “Cansei de ser Sexy”, or “Got tired of being Sexy”. The most interesting thing about this band  – besides being comprised mostly by feisty chicks (i mean, emancipated, self-indulgent women) – is that it conveys a unique, irreverent energy, both in the recordings and live concerts. This is notable both in the outrageous fashion sense of the band’s members, as well as the provocative performances they tend to put out. The lyrics are mostly about pop culture and a unhibited discussion of sexuality. This might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but if you’re not easily offended by explicit, corrosive lyrics (both in english and portuguese), and if you appreciate feisty, unhibited women, this is a band you really need to know.
