Do you believe in fate? Do you believe in predestination? What about astrology? Everyone knows about their zodiac sign, and many people actually use it to guide their daily affairs. However, not many people have heard of the Mayan Horoscope, which can provide a perspective quite more fascinating than traditional astrology.
The Mayan calendar is also called the 13 moon calendar, because it’s based on 13 periods of 28 days, followed by a day which is called “Day out of Time” (July 25th); this is always a time of global celebration in the name of peace. This calendar represents a deeply different way off regarding time than our own. It’s regarded as a prophetic calendar, which is meant to help us understand what’s in the past, and guess what’s in the future. Mayan astrology is about the progression of the human species towards their ultimate destiny. If foresees a golden age, beginning in 2012, a time of drastic socio-political worldwide changes.
In the Mayan astrology, there aren’t 12 signs as in the zodiac. Instead, there are 20 “seals” which are also called “kin”, which combine with 13 possible tones, to provide no less than 260 possible combinations. So, your Mayan zodiac would be something like “Yellow electric human”, or “Red self-Existing Skywalker”. Contrary to the zodiac sign which predicts your fortune, the Mayan signs tell you about your deepest potential as a human being, and they help you get in touch with your higher skills.
