Now what about that? Did you know that there are already robot vacuum cleaners out there that actually work? They’re only a bit more expensive than regular vacuum cleaners, and from what I’ve read about it, these cool japanese gadgets are actually highly efficient. Most units seem to be designed as a round, flat disk with several built-in sensors that allow it to navigate the floor, avoid obstacles, and detect whether the floor has been finished cleaning.

This overgrown tamagotchi looks to me like a cross between a pet, a toy, and an actual vacuum cleaner, which is kind of cool once you think about it. To check out a video exhibiting the lil’ sluggers cleaning performance, head out here.
